There's a lot to say about this gem of a game. If you're a fan of dice games, this is an easy choice. If you enjoy roguelikes with progression, this is an easy choice. If you like putting the SMACK DOWN on hapless bands of meanies with your ever-improving squad of pets, this is a really easy choice!
While the demo is criminally short, there is plenty to encounter in multiple playthroughs that hint at the depth of strategies that are going to be available when this game launches. The pacing is good, decisions matter, and there's clearly a ton of creatures, items, and abilities to discover and unlock that will keep this game replayable for a very long time!
