The ROG Tactical knife is born out of our collaboration with a Ukrainian knife-craft master who completely hand makes each one of our knives. Specifically the ROG Tactical knife came into design during the war in Ukraine. It was designed specifically for the Ukrainian army. The design features include a synthetic grippy/rough handle, non-reflective surface, and a design meant for hard and quick use.
Each of our these knives is handcrafted from hardness-tested X12F1 (a.k.a. H12F1) blade steel and meticulously assembled to the highest standards. You can read more about this steel here.
Each knife takes a minimum of 3 full days to produce. The blade is 5.27 inches (13.4 cm) long, and 0.17 inches (4.3 mm) thick, made of Russian X12F1 (a.k.a. H12F1) steel. The steel is tested to 60-62 HRC (hardness) and has remarkable edge retention and stability. The measurements noted in the photos may vary slightly on each knife as they are each handmade.The blade is sharpened to a paper-slicing edge. The knife has a rough gun-metal finish.
The handle is made of beautiful G10 handle material, known for its stability and durability. The knife is full-tang, meaning that the blade metal runs through the handle al the way to the back. The knife blade is 5.27 inches (13.4 cm) long. Altogether the knife is 10.53 inches (26.8 cm) long.
The included leather kydex sheath is hand-molded to fit precisely this knife, has a built-in belt / molle clip, which is adjustable in size to accept a strap/belt of up to 2.1 inches or 25.2 mm.
