🎂 In 2024, we celebrated its 90th anniversary, and Portugal has been part of our history for 86 of them. The first Portuguese office was opened in Coimbra, and since then, our work has expanded throughout the country, with operations in Coimbra, Lisboa, Miraflores, Parede and Porto.
Among the thousands of students who have learned English with us, there are some whose connection spreads across generations.
👪 Meet Sofia and Victor, two former students from our Miraflores Teaching Centre. They started their relationship while attending our classes and have since been together - as inseparable as a compound noun! They have learned career-defining skills at the British Council and now they want to ensure their son, Tomé, also has an impactful learning experience with us.
