As bonsai grow, elongate and expand, they must at some point be rebuilt. Sometimes this requires a full reconstruction, while in other instances in necessitates only small changes and resetting. This magnificent RMJ was in need of both large design alterations and smaller detail changes, having grown well beyond its original intended profile. The tree was originally designed by Ryan Neil of Bonsai Mirai and had won third place at the Artisan's Cup. It was brought to Eisei-en by its current owner for a restyling and will be featured in the upcoming ABS Convention in May 2022.
