VGC recently visited the National Museum of Scotland's Game On exhibition, charting 50 years of video games.

As part of that exhibition, the team has assembled a display celebrating Rockstar North, Scotland's most famous games studio. The display, which features items loaned to the museum by Rockstar, will only be shown in Scotland, making this opportunity to see rare GTA and Red Dead memorabilia a limited one.

The exhibition features a section on Red Dead Redemption 2, including brand-new, never-before-seen concept art, which was donated to the exhibit by Rockstar.

The exhibit also features Grand Theft Auto memorabilia that spans the history of the franchise.

“Scotland has played an instrumental part in the evolution of video games as a medium,” said Jennifer Kolbe, Head of Publishing at Rockstar Games. “We’re excited to help the National Museum of Scotland reveal more about the nation’s contributions to this thriving aspect of modern culture.”

Game On, an exhibition set to run at the National Museum of Scotland from June 29 until November 3, also features over 100 playable games, charting the history of the last 50 years of video games.
