GTA VI got leaked, and the fanboys defending this are genuinely out of this world.
// They don't owe you a disc.
They do, actually. There are loads of people buying the physical copies of the game expecting a disc, but they'll only get a download code instead. They do deserve a disc, but alright then. Keep justifying this garbage.
// Take Two can charge whatever they want.
They can. They just won't get a lot of buyers if they charge a lot.
// You don't have to agree with their practices, but it's all within their rights. It does not justify leaks and/or theft.
No, it doesn't, but I don't have to sympathize with them either. I really don't understand why you people do. Rockstar is a massive corporation making one of the most anticipated games of all time. Their security is clearly abysmal, but their legal team is massive. Their recovery team is doing their job. I don't feel sympathy for a corporation getting breached because of their own incompetence, especially one that can perfectly recover from it just fine. It's a big corporation. They have all the power in the world to catch those leakers. It's no big deal.
I do, however, feel sympathy to those that buy the physical copies of the game and not getting any, but forgive me for only caring about the consumers instead of big corporations.
