After that Speed run through Zero stage 3 I did before, I toyed around with this battle with Zero for some time. As I found out, this fight is a cakewalk.
Ok here's how he works. Basically, you can manipulate him with ease. If you are a close enough distance from him, he will attempt to use his Giga Attack on you. If you are a certain distance to him in the air, he will dash. If you are standing still at a longer distance while he stands still, he will shoot two Saw edged shots at you followed by a saber projectile and as you will see, that Saw edged shot stops short of hitting X.
Utilizing all of this knowledge, I was able to perform this battle flawlessly.
Ok I know that Zero in this battle will eventually throw the 1-hit kill your way, but he's never going to use it because it takes a certain time in the fight before he uses it so he will be dead long before he does it. You are able to dodge the 1-hit kill by jumping over him continuously, but he is invincible while he uses it so you can't do anything but die.
