Yeah, GM and I were very surprised to find the Debug Menu that easily. I do the hack on screen. This debug menu should make testing out the game for translating very, very easy now. I am delighted.
In the menu, you get the basic modes: game, menu, opening, CM (commercial), VB (stage complete), styleget, extra menu, and ending. On the right side, there are testing modes: sprite check, stage check, message check, face check, sound check, battle chip check, pre-level dialog check, and dummy which just goes back to the debug menu.
I think the most interesting part is the sprite check which reveals an old MegaMan sprite as well as many, many unused enemies like Gaia, and large enemies like the large Spikey.
