Rockin Beethoven's Fifth

Inspired from the disco instrumental, "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band.

How I made this video:

1) First I wrote four violin parts for this performance.

2) I recorded all four parts three times using a multi-track recorder on my Mac. Violin 1,2 and 3 using the GCV Bourree

The pick-up used was the Barcus Berry Violin Pickup 3100

3)The fourth violin part/bass part, was played using a Yamaha SV-130 playing through a BOSS OC-3 Super Octave.

4) Lined up, mixed, and bounced the result. I sent the mix to my drummer, Jadd Ryan, who recorded his part separately.

5) Using the combined parts as play-back I put on my tails, turned on the video recorder, and created 5 clips for use in Final Cut Pro.
