This is my 3rd take. Recorded in Audacity on my AT-2020 mic, filmed on my iPhone, and synched up in Adobe Premiere. No tuning, or video cuts.
To make it sound more like the original, I DID include some subtle doubling on the choruses by unmuting a previous take.

HELLO DDR's (Dedicated Description Readers)!
Oh my gosh, you guys... You have no idea how hard I've been working on this Insperation4 contest! I seriously want to go to space more than anything I've ever wanted. I've always dreamed of being an astronaut and THIS is the best chance I may ever get! I'm also SO EXCITED about the idea of bringing my love of spaceflight to an audience that may never have heard or cared about it if I didn't go! Can you IMAGINE if I did a song or impression video from ORBIT?!
Also, if I may vent for a second... I'm extremely frustrated that, despite my 4.5 million followings, I can't even get 100k views and 10k retweets on my submission video because it doesn't have anything to do with music. One of the judging criteria is virality and I honestly thought I had that one in the bag, but I guess not...
Anyway, I'm not EXPECTING to win... I just REALLY want to! I followed all the submission guidelines, but a lot of other people didn't... Not sure if that will get them disqualified or not. It says in the rules that we're not allowed to use any music, so if someone who put music in their video wins, I'll be pretty frustrated considering my whole bid is to do music in orbit and it would have helped my case a lot if I had known that rule didn't really matter. :-P
Also, one of the judges already implied to a different contestant that he was voting for her, so I guess I don't have his vote... Hopefully, I can get the votes of the other three. ^^;
OK, I need to stop ranting. It's late and I should be trying to relax. :-P
