In 2010, thousands of 3rd Infantry Division soldiers (whose slogan "Rock of the Marne," commemorates a WWI battle) from Fort Stewart, GA were deployed to Iraq. Military reporter Michael Jordan embedded with the troops and created a multiple-episode television series that aired in Savannah. In this highlight clip, viewers join the troops as they go on patrols in the deserts straddling the Syrian-Iraqi border, destroying hidden weapons caches and working to bring together Iraq's Kurds, Shi'ites, and Sunnis.
