Rock Band 2 is my favorite Rock band in the entire series, but it has a couple of fatal flaws that looking back on, didn't age quite so gracefully. The big one for me was the lack of static fills. RB2 cuts out the drum stem and forces you to make up drum hits in a fill. TBRB just played the notes and changed the last note to green. Rock Band 3 had a no fills option, but if you missed in a fill section it would not count against you.

I've made Rock Band 2 completely disregard fills and the last green note hit, and the games beatmatcher itself will handle the activation for you instead. Read that again. The game will activate for you, I did nothing at all to activate. I just hit notes. For the first time ever, you can truly 100% every single note as it was charted in Rock Band 2.
