OK - so a bunch of other people have got gold stars on Painkiller X Drums, and it really isn't a huge deal. Well, the truth of the matter is that until this morning, I used to struggle to get 5*'s on this song, since my leg stamina would wear out halfway through the song. However, I finally decided to stop trying to use the "heel-toe" method on the stock RB2 pedal, and just go with a "toe-toe-toe" style, playing near the bottom part of the pedal (much like I saw in one of azuritereactions videos). That switch enabled me to get gold stars in about 5 attempts today.
So yeah, it might not be a great achievement for GOOD drummers, but it IS a great achievement for me :P
