Pearl Grey built a robot called 2FA "Two Factor Annihilation" that is controlled with a steam deck. It uses custom made control boards that are based off on ESP32. It uses bluetooth to communicate with the steam deck with an app that was created in Unity. There is also an anime themed avatar on the steam deck that reacts to different status conditions on the robot such as battery life and if the robot takes a hit.
