We've Assembled one of our Robobuilders as a Spider using the hexapod Spider Complementary Kit (robosavvy.com/store/446)
The Kit includes the necessary extra parts as well as a Set of Ready to use Motion Files letting you get started with your Hexapod very quickly. It is these Ready to Use Motion Files that we demo in this video.
You can also take advantage of the distance sensor and acceleration sensor (if you have them installed on your robot) to make the Hexapod react to the external environment.
