Found this UCN Roblox remake last night, and as the biggest UCN glazer/enjoyer I was curious. Suffice it to say it’s very faithful to the original. It’s not entirely a 1:1, but for the most part everything from the original game is intact. It even retains everyone’s intervals, which I find to be mighty impressive.
As for the max mode, it’s a bit interesting. You still have all the offices, power-ups, challenges and 50/20 Mode, but once you beat 50/20 Mode you get access to customisation of the secret characters. If they had an AI in the OG game then I think this would’ve been an excellent addition.
So 50/20 Mode itself is actually considerably more difficult, and it’s all because of Foxy. He is so much more aggressive than in the OG game, to the point where watching him barely helps. It also doesn’t help that the Bonnie/Foxy figurine mechanic is just broken. For whatever reason the figurine sometimes lies to you and shows the wrong character in the cove. Those two things combined make the beginning much harder, and it makes surviving till the end considerably more luck based.
And then we have 56/20 Mode. Good lord this was very difficult. The setup wasn’t even that much more difficult. It’s just how the secret characters function. For the most part, they function as they do in the OG game, except they all appear multiple times per night. In the case of Nightmare Chica she can usually appear when you need the GMB on, which is rather inconvenient as she also takes longer to repel. And then there’s Plushtrap, who for whatever reason kills you differently. You’ll hear his scurrying from FNaF 4, and you’ll have to watch him to scare him away. When it comes to killing you, he only has a chance to kill you when the cameras are up instead of being guaranteed when his grace period is up. Just another completely random element thrown into the mix.
This took 3 hours to beat, and it was not very fun. I don’t intend to ever beat this again.
Last thing is I wanna mention @AgonyofAven for even being the reason why I found and played this game. Their video of 56/20 Mode popped up in my feed, and it looked faithful to the OG UCN, so I hopped on. Thanks mate. Go watch this completion - youtu.be/MXaKaOtm1xo
