On 2/14/2026, I saw Studio Chizu made a social media announcement out of nowhere advertising that they collabed with Roblox to recreate the World of OZ from Summer Wars in a new free to play game. I was unsure, but being a fan of Studio Chizu films, I decided to check it out, and boy was the game disappointing!
This is a huge disservice to Summer Wars, Studio Chizu, and Mamoru Hosoda. A game based on Summer Wars sounded awesome, along with having cameos from other Chizu films, but the end results feel like a cheap and lazy fan game. I highly recommend the movies this game is based on, but don't bother wasting your time or money on this disappointing and lazy game...
