In the middle of the forest there sat before me striped tents of varying sizes. Red and white were the two colors that warranted memories of familiar dreams and experiences. Game booths built for fun, but mainly for profit. It was all a unique experience and a sight to behold, but the real kicker was the hedge maze that had appeared as if from nowhere, yet it seemed the maze had been there all along. The ticket booth to gain entry to the maze was empty and the tall wrought iron gates were closed and locked. In jest, I placed the single ticket I had won from the air rifle booth in to the tickets slot. The number of tickets required to enter the maze dropped from three down to two. I needed to earn one ticket each from the remaining booths. After a couple of hours of trying, I was finally able to hand in my final two tickets. Once they were both swallowed whole by the ticket booth slot at the maze, the gates clinked and rattled, then they opened and allowed me entry. Hesitantly, I made my way into the maze, ready to turn and run and any sign of something strange, dark, or mysterious. Should I make it to the other side, I shall let you know. See you soon, friends.
