I've waited a bit to make a reaction to Robin Williams' death and after finding out that Don Pardo passed away on Monday I figured I'd say something before I forget what I wanted to say. Sorry this video is so long.

Both of these guys were very influential people in the entertainment industry, for different reasons, but they were both legends in their own right. Robin being a comedian of epic talent and ability, always sharp and always funny, sometimes controversial but very accurate in his criticisms in a sometimes George Carlin-like way, was a big influence and role model of aspiring comedians around the world. Don Pardo was the unforgettable voice that led the opening of Saturday Night Live for all but one season and was inspiring for people who wanted to be on radio or announce television shows some day.

Robin made so many people happy even though he was sad inside and I know what it's like to lose a friend to suicide. His death hit especially close to home. I'm a fan of Saturday Night Live and Don's loss is very sad.

Rest in peace, gentlemen. You will both be missed.
