Thanks to the wonders of home movie footage shot in the arena, we can enjoy a very young Robin Cousins at his first Worlds at the Broadmoor in 1975. He had been to Europeans in both 1973 and 1974 and was due to compete in Munich the year before but injury had prevented it so this was in some respects a delayed World debut. And while so many of the men struggled with the altitude, Robin - long before he trained in Colorado - coped admirably.
