This video features Rolf Schoch, the pilot of the Robility enhanced Wheelchair Race team from Switzerland, as he participates in the CYBATHLON Challenges 2024. Rolf completed all four designated tasks – sitting in a chair at a restaurant, navigating a stony path, managing a crowd set-up, and picking up a bottle from the floor – with his wheelchair. CYBATHLON, a not-for-profit project of ETH Zurich, is a platform that challenges teams from all over the world to develop assistive technologies suitable for everyday use with and for people with disabilities. Through international competitions and other events, CYBATHLON cultivates and fosters a dialogue between technology developers, people with disabilities and the public for greater inclusion of people with disabilities in society.
