I have been told that there was talk about putting Roode in the Mafia, but was decided against, but why is unknown.
Likely it could be because they still want to run him as a hell and make him the biggest heel in TNA, more so than Bully Ray, supposedly there was an idea to bring back a newer version of Roode Incorporated, likely named differently. This was said to feature Roode, Aries, Daniels & Kaz, likely this would've been Fortune 2, but this was just an idea.
They haven't exactly ruled out Roode as a Mafia member but for the time being, they are sticking with the 5 members that they currently have. (We will see the 5th member revealed tonight, no, I am not spoiling it.)
