Robert Duncan McNeill interview at STLV Star Trek Las Vegas 2025 while he was there for the Voyager 30th Anniversary reunion.
We catch up with Rob after he wrapped up production of RESIDENT ALIEN.
The first time we interviewed Robert Duncan McNeill he was wrapping up Chuck on NBC, and at that point I only knew him as a director because I had not watched Star Trek: Voyager. My camera operator was fan girlish the whole time we were in his office at Warner Brothers. As the staff was literally packing it up and taking posters off the walls.
I finally watched VOYAGER during my recovery after the hospital and can’t wait to start it all over again this week.
I was half way through season 1 of Resident Alien when I finally paid attention to the director’s name, and immediately knew why I loved this new weird funny show. It had Robbie’s signature style all over it.
Alan Tudyk is absolutely hilarious in this show and the entire cast of characters only adds to ensemble of funniness.
I had to know what he thought of the future of television now that it’s changed so drastically with streaming.
