Marking his debut on Purified Records, Los Angeles-based producer, songwriter and artist Rob Tirea delivers the deeply personal ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ EP. Known for carving his own lane in indie dance, Rob brings his unmistakable originality across three vocal-led cuts.
The EP opens with ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’, which takes aim at the club floor with forward-thinking percussion and a steady groove, all whilst retaining the heartfelt emotion that runs through his work. On ‘Thinking Of You’, leftfield synth elements ripple through atmospheric layers, framing Rob’s emotive vocal in an evocative light. Rounding out the release, ‘All The Time’ features a rare swing rhythm and inventive melodic phrases that drive the track’s distinctive character. Together, the three tracks reveal a bold and individual voice, introducing Rob’s sound to the Purified family with striking impact.
Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Waiting For Tomorrow’ EP artwork shows the view of Aakapa Bay, Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.
Places like Aakapa Bay are part of a vast blue frontier that holds both ocean wonders and urgent conservation needs.
