Like Forrest Gump, I often find myself serendipitously wandering into the midst of various big events, which suits me, as I'm always curious about what's going on in the world and always up for an adventure. So, of course, when on the last leg of my annual spring road trip, I found myself landing in Wildwood, NJ, and discovered that a massive Donald Trump rally was about to take place there, I was thrilled! Although I'm hardly what anybody would call a Trump kind of guy, leaning more toward what might be considered a left-over-from-the-60s hippie peacenik, I found the crowd at the rally to be open and friendly, even to an eccentric outsider like myself. All in all I had a grand old time in Wildwood and managed to have a number of interesting and civil discussions to boot. Hope you'll be able to put aside any preconceived notions you might have of such an event and join me as I wander the Boardwalk and have what was to me a novel and all in all pleasant experience.
