In September my brother and his wife moved to Calgary, AB, and our mom and I went to go help with the move. Driving across the prairies in autumn is something I would highly recommend, the scenery kept taking my breath away as we drove across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. We pretty much hammered down the whole trip, but I wanted to share some of the video clips that I took.

In Calgary you aren't quite at the Rockies yet, but you can see them in the distance. I was quite taken with Calgary, the video doesn't do it justice.

We visited an aunt and uncle while in Alberta, and fortunately happened to be there while their annual hot air balloon festival was taking place. I adore hot air balloons so I was thrilled.

We also visited Lethbridge and Waterton (which is where I actually got into the mountains) and I would highly recommend visiting both places as well, so stunning.

I barely filmed anything on the drive home because I was either driving, knitting, or napping.
