As part of MONDIACULT 2022, The UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development, The British Council is partnering with World Cities Culture Forum to present two high-level policy dialogues addressing international cultural cooperation as well as regional cultural policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Taking place before the main conference in September, these events are part of The British Council's contribution to the MONDIACULT global policy dialogue, building on the legacy of The Missing Pillar Talks on Culture's contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
This first forum reflects on the relevance of Cultural Cooperation in advancing cultural and public policy and supporting local governments to address global challenges through arts and culture. It offers an opportunity for international cooperation representatives to reinvigorate the global dialogue on future policy perspectives beyond UN (United Nations) Agenda 2030.
