We were delighted to host Baroness O'Neill at the Legatum Institute to discuss the issue of trust and trustworthiness. In her talk, the Baroness highlighted common misconceptions around trust, including the idea that it is in decline, and noted the importance of demonstrating judgement in where we place our trust. She also commented on the importance of trustworthiness as a key characteristic for leaders, emphasising the need for us to ask ourselves how competent, reliable, and honest people are before we place our trust in them.
