Over the course of the 2026 Gridlife Special Stage weekend at Road Atlanta, we had a ton of incredible racing, but one of the wildest battles of the weekend came during GLTC Race 2 between our Seems Legit Garage BMW 116i driven by Mike Pagano, and the LS-swapped Nissan 350Z of Michael Hillo.
We fought hard for the entire race, trading positions and pushing each other lap after lap. Honestly, it probably was not the smartest move strategically since our Race 2 lap times set the grid for Race 3… but the battle was way too good to back out of. We both pushed all the way to the checkered flag.
In the end, the 350Z came out on top and went on to finish inside the top 5 later in the weekend. Meanwhile, we secured a personal best GLTC finish of 9th place in Race 1 with the Seems Legit Garage E87.
This is exactly why we love Gridlife. Hard racing, respectful battles, and nonstop fun all weekend long. Huge respect to Michael Hillo for an awesome fight, and we cannot wait to line up against each other again in the future.
