Distinti explains how Higher knowledge can block scientific progress. Trying to infer what something (the higher construct) is made of (the lower construct) may be difficult because the higher construct may not have any resemblance to the underlying construct. Also, it is probably the case that higher level knowledge is incomplete, ambiguous or just plane wrong.
