10 years ago, Canadian veteran RMS flew down to headline a show in Chicago alongside American drum and bass OG Jaybee. Discovering a shared background in hip-hop and turntablism, a friendship was sparked that led to a decade long creative partnership. That initial weekend long studio session in a freezing Chicago basement turned into years of online collaboration from this pair of producers who take huge influence from the late 90s era dnb.
When RMS & Jaybee submitted their initial demos to Dispatch Recordings it was immediate that they would be the perfect artists for the Dispatch Blueprints series, which it celebrates the heritage sound of drum and bass. Blueprint 1 and 2 have been carefully crafted over several years and represent some of the pair’s best work to date. Whilst the flavour of each producer can be heard throughout each track, their styles gel to create a unique sound that elevates their music to new levels.
With these first two EPs, their music has found the perfect home and we're proud to present this exceptional pair of debut releases for Dispatch.

NC-17 returns to Dispatch Recordings with No One Lives Forever - a cinematic new full-length project shaped by Peter’s long-standing obsession with film culture, tension-building and stripped-back low-end design. Following a run of critically acclaimed LPs for the label, the album sees NC-17 refining his sound further than ever before: less clutter, more weight, more atmosphere and a deeper focus on groove, movement and emotional impact.
Heavily influenced by cinema both sonically and conceptually, No One Lives Forever plays like a series of noir-infused scenes unfolding across rolling subs, hypnotic percussion, razor-sharp drum programming and moments of widescreen intensity. The project arrives alongside a major crossover moment for the artist, with NC-17 featured in a new Sight & Sound (BFI) interview exploring the relationship between film and music, including contributions and quotes from legendary filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Paul Schrader, Sean Baker and Roger Avary.
Featuring guest appearances from Dub Head, Leaf, Myth and Philth, the album continues the aesthetic hinted at on lead samplers ‘Death Threat’ and ‘Bongo Inc’ - tracks already heavily supported by Ant TC1, Goldie and The Sauce camp.
With No One Lives Forever, NC-17 delivers his most focused and cinematic body of work to date - a record that bridges underground Drum & Bass craftsmanship with the atmosphere, pacing and emotional depth of cult cinema.
