Dauntless returns to Dispatch for the “2nd Wave EP” a five-track release featuring collaborations with Ewol and Gill.
Inspired by The Great Wave off Kanagawa (Hokusai) artwork, Dauntless continues the metaphor of waves throughout these tracks, symbolising light/dark and the ebb and flow of tides as he reaches a milestone in his creative life. From the sound waves fed into his favourite synthesisers to the driving current that flows through his music, this EP fully captures the power of these ideas.

True to the ethos of the Dispatch Dubplate sub-label, this release is built around another in-demand dubplate, with Machete forming the basis of this EP. A track that stood out in Ant TC1s post-COVID US tour with Doc Scott, the early Vedas master version caused maximum dancefloor impact with its classic AWOL era sound and raw lashy amen feel at 170bpm+.
