Realistic Look: The Pitch Period - Episode 4: Wonders of the World
May 15, 1995. 5 months after the release of the Street Fighter movie, Sonic read the script for a planned Sonic live-action movie, Sonic the Hedgehog: Wonders of the World. Sonic also looked forward to the game that was in development: Sonic X-Treme.
Sonic recalled how the Street Fighter movie is inaccurate. Still, he praised the good aspects of the film, such as the comic relief version of Zangief and the cheesy-yet-amazing performance of Raul Julia, the late actor who played M. Bison.
Sonic hoped to use one of the lines from the movie. Just that he needed to wait till it was the right time to do so.
______________________________
Fourth episode of the video diary series. It addresses the canceled film and video game projects, as well as a thought on the third live-action video game movie adaptation from Hollywood (Sonic didn't even know about the Double Dragon movie).
