Green-White-Checker finish in the Fall Foliage 250 at Riverside Speedway on October 14, 2006. Ben Rowe beats Cassius Clarke. Mike Rowe, Johnny Clark, and Richie Dearborn rounded out the top 5 in the 27 car field.
The Canadian drivers struggled throughout the day. CPST Champ John Flemming had a radiator go bad on lap 8. Wayne Smith, winner of the Pionner Coal 100 at Riverside, blew an engine on lap 11 after winning his heat race the day before. Mike MacKenzie, the top qualifying Maritimer in third, had mechanical issues. Rollie MacDonald won both Riverside Pro Stock races in 2005, and was fast here, but also had mechanical failures and ended up 21st. Donald Chisholm was in the top 5, and reeling in the leaders when his ignition blew with 40 or so laps remaining.
