We went to the river the next day after the freeze that hurt a lot of our plants and trees at our home. With the sun out and warmer weather our covered fruit trees and grapevine would have cooked under the trash cans and tarps. This is what we found. There was a huge difference between the low temps at our home and the low temps at the river even though they are just 46 miles apart.
