Ritwick Dutta has spent his career focused exclusively on environmental litigation and has supported communities, civil society groups and affected citizens in bringing environmental issues to the court system.
In this talk Ritwick will discuss how India's developmental strategy, has led to a massive exploitation of forests, rivers and land, as well as increased conflicts between corporate entities and the state with India's rural and tribal communities. Ritwick will also take the chance to highlight the phenomenal growth and impact of India's environmental movement in recent years.
