| The Timeline |
Initially, "Collar of Bones" didn't exist. This started as a single commission project in 2019 for someone named LunaBayWolf. I was introduced to him through an IRL friend of mine and after finding out that I do music, he asked if I could do something for his stream. Track 1 was born. It only took us a few months to become good friends and later that year, he ended up commissioning me for 2 more projects that I had a lot of fun doing. After the 3rd track, he told me that he had a special idea he might need me for come 2020.
Little did I know, this idea was a 4 song project and it was half way through this project that he brought up the idea of having these released as an album for everyone to enjoy outside of his streams! It took me all of 2020 to work on those 4 tracks because that's when the pandemic kicked in and so did a lot of depression on my end. After wrapping up the 2020 project, we're now at 7 tracks and he tells me there's one more song he'd like me to do to close out the entire album. Track 8 was completed late March of 2021.
Luna then commissioned a really talented artist, DomWolfe, to handle the cover art which understandably took a little while to get done as well considering the state of the world and such, but here we are! This entire project not only tells a story for Luna, but is also a really cool project for me to look back on and listen to how my sound and idea execution has changed over time in regards to production!
