I took an unprotected $1600.00 dollar Holosun DRS-TH thermal red dot to an airsoft pick-up game at SC Village to see if it would actually give me an advantage over casual players.
How do you protect your investment?
A friend of mine gave me a Cold Harbour lens protector. It has two levels of protection for the thermal sensor. One is a titanium honeycomb and the second is a germanium sacrificial lens. You can use just one of these to protect the sensor or both for ultimate protection. The installation is simple and takes about 30 minutes. Which I speed run for you.
