Hello generals and welcome to Basic Training For RISK: Global Domination.
This is Basic Training Module 4: Fortify
Fortify is the final phase of your turn. The purpose of Fortify is to strengthen the borders you want to protect. This could be the borders of a continent you hold or the borders of where a majority of your territories are. A stronger defence makes it harder for your opponents to attack you!
You may only perform one fortification move per turn.Territories you can send troops from to fortify another territory are highlighted on the map.
Territories must be connected to each other to be fortified. You cannot send troops from one territory to another if they are separated by another player’s territory.
To fortify, select the territory you would like to move troops from, then select the territory you'd like to move them to.
Use the slider to choose how many troops you wish to fortify. At least one troop must remain at the original territory. Select the tick and you will have completed the fortify phase, immediately ending your turn.
Fortify is an optional step and it can be skipped during any turn by selecting the 'end turn' button at the bottom of your screen.
