This is an any% speedrun of Risen in 44:46. Timing starts upon waking up at the beach and ends when the final cutscene starts playing. Overall, this run is pretty good. There are just a couple dumb mistakes I made that probably lost around a minute combined. I could see a 42 being done with this route.
There are several improvements made to the route over the last month or so. The big differences occur at the Northeastern Temple and a bit at harbour city and the swamp. These improvements save a couple minutes in all. Otherwise, the base route hasn't changed at all.
The improvement in harbour city involves getting the levitate scroll hidden in Costa's chest. It takes about 50 seconds in total to get and saves around 1:20 compared to walking to the swamp. So in total it saves around 30 seconds.
The swamp is improved by not getting the axe and level ups I used to get. This is a result of the changes made to the Northeastern Temple. This is around 40+ seconds saved.
Finally, the way that the Northeastern Temple is handled is changed a lot. Rather than killing everything on the path to Eldric with Cyrus in tow, I fly OoB to Eldric and to various points in the temple. This isn't actually that much faster compared to using the bearded axe but, this does not incur the 40+ seconds spent getting the axe and level ups in the swamp earlier. This method is also a lot easier with almost no enemy RNG to mess it up.
