Apogee founder Scott Miller reveals the story behind Wolfenstein: The Rise of the Triad, a planned continuation of id Software's legendary FPS. Tom Hall joined Apogee to lead development while id Software worked on DOOM, but the agreement was eventually canceled.
Rather than abandon the project, Apogee transformed it into Rise of the Triad, with traces of its Wolfenstein origins still visible in the game that released in 1994.
