While the team stranded in the past witnesses the rise of En Sabah Nur, those in the present race to reunite the scattered mutants before history is permanently altered. Blending action, mythology, and emotional character moments, the episode expands Apocalypse's backstory while setting up a much larger conflict that spans multiple timelines.
