Riptide GP2 features 4 different game modes. In addition to classic Races and Hot Laps, there's also "Freestyle", where you're challenged to show off your stunt skills. The bigger and crazier the stunt, the more points you get. Repeat a stunt, and you get less points.

As you win events you earn XP and level up your character. As you level up, you learn new stunts! It's pretty awesome.
