I just realized that one of my favorite electro-acoustic composers - Arthur Kreiger - passed away last year. I've known the man since 1977. Brilliant guy.

This is an excerpt from one of my favorite pieces of his: Dance For Sarah. It was composed in the late 70s. Keep in mind these gestures were all created by tape splicing and the tasteful Doppler effect - that was done by voltage controlling tape deck capstan motors. Pretty smart stuff for the day.
