Temp=80.4 with range 79.0 - 80.9
pH=8.18 with range 7.62 - 8.18
Prior video shows the manual dose of so called Advanced Reef Supplements.
Basic Reef Supplements as follows:
IF pH is greater than 8.35 then doser outlet OFF
24/7 Kalkwasser dripping every-other 30mins but OFF if 2-part is dosing
now dosing 2-part on timer 8 times per day at 2ml each dose on Mon/Wed/Fri
Notice the algae on the rocks caused by yesterday's Supplements dosing so tomorrow I complete a water change 20 gallons or so then another video rinse reef and repeat. Sometimes I stretch or condense this cycle. The max equals 3.5 weeks. Shortest 3-5 days.
This reef tank seems to struggle with low pH.
In 2017, I will test out DIY CO2 scrubber + Color Changing Medical Grade CO2 Absorbent media along with Marine Snow and Selcon.
