Eiko asks Doctor Tot to help her write a love letter to Zidane. Problem is, she doesnt address it to Zidane! Or sign it. With finished letter in hand, she goes off to confess her feelings, when Baku bumps into her. As she hangs from the railing inside the Alexandrian castle, her letter falls below. She asks Baku to take the letter to Zidane. On his way back to town, Baku encounters Steiner and his Pluto Knights on patrol. Baku yells at them, saying thieves arent welcome in the castle. As Baku steps onto the boat back to town to meet up with the rest of Tantalus, he absentmindedly drops the letter. Steiner storms off. Beatrix wanders into the area, sees that Steiner has just left, and notices the fallen letter. She picks it up, reads it, realizes its a love letter, and thinks that Steiner had left it for her. Back in town, Zidane is drowning his sorrows, when Vivi comes in to ask if they could see Dagger become queen. Zidane leaves, and everyone leaves before Baku remembers that he had a letter to give to Zidane. Oh well! At the castle, they see Dagger/Princess Garnet all dressed up and ready for her coronation ceremony. She and Eiko exchange gems containing their eidolons. Zidane cant bring himself to say anything to Dagger. Later, at the meeting place of the letter, Eiko realizes that Zidanes heart belongs only to Dagger. She decides to ghost Zidane, when Blank and Marcus wander into the area. The letter had yet again fallen into the wrong hands, and this time, Blank thinks its addressed to him. They wait around to see what kind of beautiful girl must be waiting for him, when Steiner continues on his patrol. Upon seeing him approach, Blank and Marcus run into hiding, dropping the letter yet again. Steiner picks it up and thinks its addressed to him, when Beatrix wanders into the area. Steiner and Beatrix lock eyes and close in the distance, realizing their feelings for each other... Marcus gets a nosebleed from watching. Then Baku sneezes off-screen and ruins the whole scene.
