On June 5, Washington University students, staff and faculty came together
to honor the lives of black and trans Americans who have recently been killed.
“Ring Their Names” refers to the plea from Terrence Floyd, George Floyd’s
brother, to “Keep my brother’s name ringing.”
In this 30-minute vigil, hosted by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, reflection
is offered by the following community members -
• Mark Kamimura-Jiménez, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion
• Andrew D. Martin, Chancellor
• Kiarra Womack, AB ’21
• Peter Ogunniran, PhD candidate in Arts & Sciences
• Adrienne Davis, vice provost and the William M. Van Cleve Professor of Law
• The Reverend Callista Isabelle, Director Of Religious, Spiritual, and Ethical Life
• Rob Wild, Interim Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
