The secret boss fight in Traverse Town after you beat the game. When he does his combo attack, counter after 4th attack to remain invulnerable through it. During his lightning phase he'll jump on the wall, you can avoid this by running in a large circle either direction. Use your heal to be invulnerable through some of his attacks. This was on my 2nd playthrough on critical mode difficulty.
