Riff Raff was a Finnish Heavy Metal band, formed in 1979 in Oulu. Bands first release was Gonna Make it Roll/ Jealous Woman single in 1981. The next year band released their another single "Robot Stud/ Dead on My Feet". Band's first release "No Law 'n Order" released either 1981 or 1982, was still very Hard Rock/ NWOBHM influenced. On their second album "Robot Stud", released later year 1982,the band had already found more firm Heavy metal sound. Between the second and third album, band released a single 7" EP "Dreaming/ I'll be Gone" .On their third and last album "Give the Dead Man Some Water", Kaija Koo, later a famous Finnish pop idol from early 90s, did backing vocals for some of the songs. Their newly-joined keyboardist, T.T Oksala also produced the album. He is nowadays a well-known producer in Finland.
