The oldest busses in VTA’s active fleet are 2001 Gillig Low Floor (G27D102N4) that are still out in service about 24 years later. These are among the oldest transit busses in service in the region, and are probably not going to be rolling around in revenue service much longer. These appear to be mostly replaced by the 3400 series, as are the 2000s and 2100s old Gillig Low Floors.

Here’s a ride on 1007 on route 66 to Milpitas, boarding in downtown San Jose, which I think was the only one in service during that day - making it the oldest bus in service.
